Today I had a full day of classes. I got up joust a few hoers after getting inlate at the bright and early time of 7:30. I went to my OS, Networking, 270, and then took my 201 test at 12:00. After my 201 test I got ready and went in to Athens. After about 15 min the bus arived and we headed into town. The sky was all pich black as we went in. When we arived to the sub way the seats and the flour were all wet from the poring rain. Later when we got into the Aplacka area in Athens we went to the Jurlery store to stay out the storm. When we had gotten off the subway the sky tordes the south was all pic black. Later when we were in the joulery store the street turned into a river and the watter was picking up chairs and tables. It was probly around 2 ft. high. When it got down the street a little more it ran up against some of the buildings and looked like rapids. After about fifteen minouts it all settled down and david and I headed out to get some gyros at the shop down there. After that we headed up to Star Bucks to relax and have a dirink. A little latter the walcked over to church.
Folowing church tonight I came back with the group on the charter bus and I had a meating with our group regarding our music through the ages presentation for 270. We will be giving this on the 27 of this month. I then spent the rest of the night working throu the details of free travle. Then I headed to bed for the night. Tomaro I can sleep in. This morning I got up early and reviewd my notes for the test. I then headed off to Bible and then took my OS exam. I think it went farly well. Afte that it was off to greek class. Today we had split chaple and were able to have first chaple out side under the new building in the back yard of the Artumous off to the left side where there use to be a bar. It is looking realy good and is almost foly restored including the watter fall in the background.
After lunch I spent some time getting cought up on my studies and preparing for my test tomaor in 201. Tonight I am going to Athans to see the play Fitler on the Roof. We will see this in the theator right below the Acropolous. I am realy looking forward to this to night.
We took the schools van and a car and all piled in and headed to the suberban line to head into athens. When I got on the subway I decided to have a little fun and not hold on to athing. I ended up riding there and back with out holding any railing. It was a neet chalange and gave me something to do as we comuted.
When we arived at the theator it was all ready realy starting to fill up. There ended up being around 5,000 people probaly. There was a wonderful sunset and the clouds were gorgous. Also the stars were joust wonderful in the seneray of the out dore theator. All the seets were full and the ials had people along with people sitting up on the rocks srounding the theator. The show was all in greek but it was wonderfuly preformed. All the voices and dance moves were down persisley.
Folowing the consort it took us a while to get out. Once we got out we all rushed to the subway to take it to the suberban line. Apone arival we took it to the end of the line an they turned out the lights and we headed up stairs in the terminal. We looked to see if we could fined out if the suberban line was till going. One of the workers that was closing up the terminal tolde us that we had to leave and he did not know anthing about what was going on with the suberban rail line. We found out that it was closed for the night untill 4:30 am. It was now about 1:00 am. I continued to do some studing for test tomaro. I did some singing out on the street as we wated for a taxie to come. Finily one came by and Mr. MyHam and Dr. Baber went back to get the van and car to pick the rest of us up. It took about 20 min to get to the cars and then about the same to pick us back up. We then rushed back to campous and got back around 2:00 am. I then went and got something to dirnk befor heading up stairs and to bed. It was realy a wonderful night of theator and fun riding the subway and the fun excurtion of missing the train. Defently a mimberal experence.

This morning I woke up bright and early on the ship. After getting all the rest of my things packedup and getting ready for the day I headed out of the room to the main gathering spot where we depared the ship from. Once our hole group had arived we departed from the Agean I ship. We all folowed Deno off and acrosed the port to clame our lugage in the terminal. We were now back in Athens where we had started on monday. Once we all got our bages we started our walk out to the bus. One he ride back to Port Arafie we drove by many of the Olimpic vinues that were located along the sea. We also saw the old air port that use to be in side the city. I then layed down and took a nap on the way back.
Once we arived back at the Artumus I went up stairs and opend the lab. Then I got cought up on emails and bissness. I then did some studing for my test in operating systems befor we had our afternoo classes. After chaple and lunch we started our 8:00 classes at 1:00 and then proceeded throu our day. Once classes were over I did some more studding and then it was time for supper. After supper I studied the rest of the night befor our meeting about how to read the train sejals for free travel. This morning our first excurstion off the ship was Creet. Our first stop was to go by the palace of the miceneon people there. We ended up being the first group of people to arive this morning and so we moved throu the site with out haveing to wate in any lines. This was very nice. It was realy neet to see all the restored colums and the butiful colors on all the frescos around. One of the main things that cought my eye was there watter system. With my background in arcetecture it was cool to see how this was done in earler sivilsations. Another thing that I found interesting at this site was the use of horzontal wooden beams integrated in with the macenory work and the multiple levels of staced squair blocks. It remined me of some of the carteristics that you might see in some of Frank Loyed Wright’s arcetecture.
After we arived on the far side of the site our guide had several of us reinacted some of the epic stories. I vidiotaped on my camera the acting as our guide toled the story. We then saw the oldest road in Urop that came into the city.
Once we had copleated touring the site we headed back to the bus and traveled back into town. Here we went to the museum and saw manin items like the duble headed acts, statues, several pots, and other items from the miceneeon civilsation. Once our tour was over I did some video taping and photography of the modle of the sight that we asw earler in the day. Then it was off to get some watter and ice creem befor heading back to the ship.
Once we departed for the ship our bus was blocked in by other busses that were all going back to the ship also. Apon arival to the customs there was an extermily long lign that took about 1/2 an hower to get throu. Then we all huried out to our ship for deparcher from Creet.
We all then had a meeting about or deparcher tomaor from the curse and arival in santereenie to night. After the meeting I headed to lunch at the rear of the ship. Here I got some food and headed out to the upper deck to eat out side with Bennet out on the deck. Once we had finished our lunch we went down to the dinning hall down stairs and got some ice creem. During the time that we were down there the caption came and sat the activities director at our table. I had a wonderful discution with here for about thurty minouts. She is originaly from canida. Here husband is the one who had got here started in here job. He also works on ships, and they are not on same one curently but many times they are. We tocked about here travles and I also explaned about our school and the program and our travles. Once she had compleated eating and I had finished ice creem I went back to my room and took a nap till it was time to arive at our next destinatin.
Once the ship got close to Miconos aroung 3:30 I got readey and headed up on top deck to see us arive to the island. This is the island that had a voclano go off and over half of the island sunck into the sea. It was realy neet to see the clifs with all the strata layers of earth as we arived. This is one of the places that it is bleved that could have bean the lost city of alantous.
Apon arival we took tenders off the ship to the island. The one I was on a sailing ship like old ship sailed by. A few seconds later a large wave came up and splahed into the ship getting severl people wet that are in our group. They were sitting in the open space where you get on and off the ship. Once we arived I headed up to where the donkies are. Here we road donkies up to the top of the island. It took a while to get everthing orginised for us to start making our way up the hill. There was some nigoeationg between Deno and the people that had the donies. I ended up folowing our guid up one of the tiers and hoped on one of the donkies. Then I road it for a little while and then the man started sayinging things in greek. I figured out that he wanted me to get off. After getting off he had me get on another donkie and we continued up the side of the mounton. The seemed to have a minde of its own. Several times it would put its head down to the ground. It liked to go back in forth from beside the wall to the side of the hill as we went up the differnt swich backs. Once we arived at the top I took some photoes of the butiful town and the view over the sea.
I then went browsing throu stores and got some thing to dirink. I then ended up going with a group up to a restrant that had a view of the hole island. It was very butiful. Here I had an banana milck shake. It was farly expensive but was very good and the view was wonderful. I then went and did some more window shoping befor ceaching the cable car down to ceach a tinder to the ship.
This evening I had supper down stairs in the dinning room. I ate with a group of older ladies that were on a tour with there luthern church. We had a wonderful conversation about many things including Pauls travles and different experinces and had some discution about the gosple towdes the end. Folowing our time I went up sairs and saw the end of the sun set up on the main deck. I then went to the back of the ship where several people were playing cards for a while. After this I went back up stairs to the front of the ship and looked at the stars some more and did some singing with the wind rolign off the medetranioun blowing in my face. It was butiful and very reffreshing. After the time up on deck I headed back down to my caben and packed up for our deparcher in the mornign. We set our bags out side the room and they came and picked up in the middle of the night.
